What types of items do you buy or consign?

We specialize in luxury and high-end designer fashion pieces and luxury home decor, such as clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories for woman, but also ceramics, tableware, vases and home decorations. We only accept 100% authentic items in excellent condition.

How do I sell my items to House of Four?

You can bring your items directly to our boutique or you can send us a message with pictures and descriptions of your items. We'll evaluate your pieces and get back to you with further details.

How do you determine the value of my items?

Our experienced team of experts carefully assesses the brand, condition, current trends and current market demand to determine the value of your items.

How quickly will I receive payment when I sell my items?

We provide immediate payment for the items we purchase from you. You'll receive your payment promptly, ensuring a hassle-free selling experience.

We also offer selling your item on consignment basis, only for rare pieces.

What is the consignment process like?

Our consignment service includes photographing, listing, and displaying your items in-store and online. Items are showcased for two months and you receive 60% of the sale amount if they sell during this period.

What happens if my consigned item doesn't sell within two months?

If your item doesn't find a new owner within the initial two months, you have the option to extend the consignment for more exposure or take your item back.

Is my privacy protected when using your services?

Yes, your privacy is our priority. We handle all transactions discreetly and with the utmost confidentiality.

Shopping at House of Four

Are the items House of Four sells guaranteed to be authentic?

Yes, we take authenticity very seriously. Whether it's a vintage gem or last season piece, all items in our collection are 100% guaranteed authentic. Our team includes two experts with over many years of experience in the luxury fashion industry. We meticulously authenticate each item before it's made available in our store. It's important to note that some of our items, may have undergone minor repairs to extend their lifespan. These repairs are carried out by specialized experts in handbag and accessory restoration and are not performed by the original brand itself.

Can I visit your boutique to see your collection in person?

Absolutely! We welcome you to visit our boutique and explore our curated collection of pre-loved luxury fashion and home pieces

What are the openings hours of the House of Four boutique?

We are open from Wednesday till Saturday.

Wednesday - Friday, 10am - 3pm.

Saturday, 10am - 1:30pm.

We don't close for lunch.

Where can I find the boutique?

The House of Four boutique is located in the heart of the city centre of Loulé, near the local market hall. Next to us is the Japanese restaurant Artigo Três and the local Portuguese drogaria.

Can I cancel an order I placed?

Yes, you have the option to cancel an order, provided it is done prior to shipping. To initiate a cancellation, please get in touch with our customer support team at +351 924 268 184. Our phone line is open daily between 10AM-16:30PM in CET (Lisbon time).

Can I reserve an item I saw on the House of Four webshop and view it in the store before making a purchase?

Absolutely! We're delighted to accommodate your request. You can reserve an item for a maximum of 24 hours. If you've come across an item online that you'd like to reserve for an in-store viewing, please reach out to us via email at contact@bymarna.com or give us a call at +351 924 268 184. When contacting us, please provide the name, the price and model of the item.

Can I purchase an order online and pick it up in person at the House of Four boutique?

Yes, absolutely! We offer the option to purchase your order online and pick it up in person at the House of Four boutique in Loulé. Once your item is available for pick-up, you'll receive an email notification from us. Please aim to collect your order within 5 business days.

Did you initially opt for shipment but now prefer to pick up your order in person? No problem! Just send us an email at contact@houseoffour.com, or give us a call at +351 924 268 184 right after placing your order.

What payment methods does House of Four accept?

We offer a variety of convenient payment options. You can make your purchase using iDeal, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, or Bancontact.

Are the prices negotiable at House of Four?

Regrettably, we do not negotiate prices. The prices listed on our webshop are fixed and not open to negotiation. We aim to provide transparent and consistent pricing to all our valued customers.

Shipping & returns

Do you accept returns on purchased items?

Yes. Items purchased on our webshop may be returned for a full refund within 14 days after you have received it. This implies webshop orders which we shipped to you and on webshop orders you have picked up in store. The security tag must always be attached and intact to receive a full refund. Items postmarked on the 14th day after the item was received are eligible for the return refund.

In order to avoid unnecessary returns, please read the description and view the photos carefully. Please note the size measurements of the item and any flaws. Please remember all our items are second hand. This always shows somewhere, even if we mention they are in excellent vintage condition.

Return from an item is on your own cost. Please let us know by sending an e-mail to contact@houseoffour.com, saying you wish to return your order.

Where do you offer shipping services?

Currently, we offer shipping services to customers in Portugal and The Netherlands. If you are outside these areas and are interested in purchasing from us, please contact our team for further assistance or information on alternative shipping options.

Will I be charged for shipping fees?

Yes, we charge shipping fees for all orders with a total order amount below €100,-. However, for orders exceeding €100,-, and shipped to Portugal and The Netherlands, shipping fees are on us.

Our shipping fees encompass various services, including handling, packaging, as well as secured and registered shipment. This means that your order will require a signature upon delivery. We choose this method to ensure the security of your purchase and for your peace of mind.

What are the shipping fees at House of Four?

Shipping fees for secured and registered shipment to Portugal and The Netherlands are as follow:

- Packages to 3 kg with measurements of 40x40x40, €8,95.

- Packages from 3 to 5 kg with measurements of 50x50x50, €13,95.

- Packages from 5 kg and more the price will be mentioned in the description.

When will my item be shipped?

We strive to provide you with swift service. Typically, we aim to ship your order within 1 to 2 business days from the receipt of payment. As soon as your order is on its way, you will receive a track & trace code through either email or SMS. This code will allow you to easily track the progress of your shipment.

When will my order be delivered?

Delivery times are based on your location, weekends and holidays. Most of the time you can see the estimation of transit time in days with the tracking link. Bear in mind that local post companies might take longer to deliver your package.

Who is responsible for customs fees/taxes?

The buyer of the item is responsible for any customs duties or taxes that are applied by his/her country.

Shipments within Portugal or The Netherlands don't have customs fees.

What happens if my order gets lost during shipment?

First of all, we’re very sorry this happened. If the shipment gets lost by our chosen carrier, we will start an investigation with the carrier. This normally takes up to 10 business days but in special cases may take longer. Should the carrier confirm your order is lost, your order will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund. We will refund only after the investigation is conducted and not before.

Do you offer any cleaning or restoration services for pre-loved items?

Yes, we have a cleaning service in collaboration with Luxury Clean. Indher from Luxury Clean provides meticulous cleaning and restoration for your luxury and high-end designer shoes, bags and small leather goods.
