Our team of experts conducts an authentication process for every item we list online or showcase in our boutique. We have a strict policy to accept only designer items that are authentic. Each piece must pass a secure examination, and for certain brands, we may require proof of authenticity. If there is ever any doubt about the authenticity of an item, it will not be accepted into our collection.

 

    OUR INTAKE CRITERIA

    "We are selective" – We uphold exact standards when selecting the brands that find a home in the House of Four boutique. Every item is thoughtfully examined to ensure the highest quality possible. Take a moment to review our criteria to determine if your items meet our standards.

    House of four exclusively accepts items that fit the following criteria:

    • Quality – We exclusively welcome items of the highest quality. Carefully evaluate the current condition of your piece. We seek items that are fresh, free from significant stains and damages. We understand that pre-loved items have their own unique stories, so items showing signs of wear are acceptable.
    • Designer brands – We exclusively feature high-end and luxury brands in our collection. Here are examples of the brands we consider:

        HOW WE DETERMINE PRICING

        The House of Four team assesses and manages all the items we receive using a comprehensive set of criteria, including:

        • Condition of the item:
          • New with price tag: Unworn item with the price tag still attached, often accompanied by the original box or dustbag.
          • As good as new: Items in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.
          • Good: Items that have been worn but remain in good condition.
          • Signs of wear: Items with visible, signs of wear (see item description for details).
        • Current fashion relevance: Is the item currently in style and available in stores?
        • Brand desirability: Does the item belong to a highly desired brand, such as Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, etc.?
        • Presence of labels and accessories: Ideally, we purchase pre-loved items that include brand labels, washing labels, dustbags, boxes, and authenticity numbers. Items retaining these attributes hold their value better.
